Unlock Bootloader of Any Mi Device

Mi is one of the biggest brand in mobile world. Mi device are good in quality and performance but you can not enjoy all features of device without rooting it. Most of new launched Mi phone comes with bootloader locked, So first you have to unlock bootloader of device in order to root your phone. So here is guide using which you can unlock bootloader of any Mi phone.

Step 1 - Visit to (http://en.miui.com/unlock) tap on unlock Icon, it will redirect you to a login page. Login using same Mi account which you are using in your phone.

Step 2 - Now fill this form and do not use any copied reason as mentioned

Step 3 - After applying wait for 3-4 days for approval. Once approved, download Mi Unlock Tool and install on your PC

Things to do before unlocking bootloader
-Make sure your device battery is more than 50%
- Visit Settings>Additional Settings>Developer option, Here allow OEM Unlocking and USB debugging

- To get Developer option go to About phone and tap 10 times on MIUI version

Step 4 - Login in Mi Tool with Mi account

Step 5 - Now Shut down your phone manually, and hold Volume down key and Power button to enter Fastboot mode, connect your device to PC and click on Unlock.

                       
Note - If you are getting Errors like couldn't verify device or its getting stuck on 50% than please reset your device and try again.
